Why do people have absolute faith in a God who obviously doesnt return the sentiment?
Pray that the Lord will get us through this, will heal this, will etc... while looking at each and every affliction as a test given by the same deity.
When you look at it from the perspective that "the Lord is in control of everything" and "the Lord wont give you more than you can handle, you admit that the cancer, sickness, heatbreak, etc was put there by the very same person you are now begging in prayer to fix the problem. So... from that angle, you're questioning His judgement, which goes against the very beliefs you hold so dear.
Oh, the circles my brain is spinning in right now. BLAH!
